Terms and Conditions for Moving Van Services

1. Booking and Reservations

To secure a moving van, you must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process. Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.

  • Availability: Our services are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.
  • Confirmation: A booking confirmation will be sent to your provided email address.

1.1 Payment Terms

All payments must be made in full at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and online transfers.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Refund Policy: Refunds will be processed according to the cancellation policy outlined during booking.
  • Rescheduling: We may accommodate rescheduling requests based on availability.

2.1 No-Show Policy

A no-show by the client will result in forfeiture of the booking fee.

3. Responsibilities of the Moving Van Service Provider

  • Ensuring the moving van is maintained and in good working condition.
  • Providing trained and experienced drivers.
  • Handling your belongings with care during transit.

3.1 Limitation of Liability

While we take utmost care in handling your possessions, we are not liable for any damages or losses that occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as accidents, natural disasters, or acts of God.

4. Responsibilities of the Client

As a client, you agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Providing accurate information regarding the size and nature of the move.
  • Packing your belongings securely before the moving date.
  • Ensuring that all items are accessible for loading and unloading.

4.1 Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from being transported in our moving vans:

  • Hazardous materials such as flammable liquids, explosives, and corrosive substances.
  • Perishable goods that may spoil during transit.
  • Valuables and irreplaceable items like jewelry, important documents, and electronics.

5. Insurance and Claims

We offer basic insurance coverage for your belongings during transit. For additional coverage, clients may opt for comprehensive insurance plans at an extra cost.

  • Filing Claims: In the event of damage or loss, clients must file a claim within 7 days of the incident.
  • Assessment: All claims will be assessed to determine the validity and extent of compensation.

5.1 Exclusions

Our insurance does not cover damages resulting from improper packing by the client or the inherent nature of certain fragile items.

6. Scheduling and Timing

We strive to adhere to the scheduled pickup and drop-off times. However, unforeseen traffic conditions or weather events may cause delays.

  • Timeliness: Clients are advised to be ready at the agreed-upon time to facilitate a smooth process.
  • Delays: We will communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.

6.1 Estimated Time of Arrival

Upon booking, an estimated time of arrival will be provided. Please note that this is subject to change based on current road and weather conditions.

7. Access and Permissions

Clients must ensure that the moving van has appropriate access to both the pickup and drop-off locations.

  • Parking Permits: If parking permits are required, clients are responsible for securing them.
  • Accessibility: Entrances and pathways must be clear to facilitate easy loading and unloading.

7.1 Loading and Unloading Procedures

Our team will handle the loading and unloading of items, but clients may assist to ensure efficiency and safety.

8. Privacy and Data Protection
